I am an unhappy Vonage user. My service has been slowly degrading over the past month – and now I am unable to make outgoing calls 2 out of 3 times.
I tried to call your tech support number, but after going thru your prompts to get to tech support, all I got a busy signal. Not good for a phone company – eh?
My symptoms include:
1. Get dial tone, dial number, and I get a fast busy or nothing. Call doesn't go thru.
2. When I try to dial again, I get no dial tone (whether the first call was successful or not). I wait 2 minutes, and I get a dial tone back.
I’m using a Motorola ATA, with it’s own IP address.
Any ideas? |

Try resetting your Vonage box.
See if when you try the config menu if you get your IP address or
zero, if zero, reset.
Just a thought |

Got to my config page and was able to see the static IP address that I set.
Then, per your suggestion, I rebooted the Motorola ATA. I'm still experiencing the same symptoms.
THanks for the suggestion. Let me know if you have any other thoughts. |
