VWR-VD MAC Filtering doesn't work

As posted in reply to another "router loses settings during reboot or power loss" thread, MAC filtering still lets devices NOT in my "Allow" list to connect. Just wanted to bring up a specific thread on the topic to avoid getting buried.

I also had the same issue you are experiencing with the router I purchased. I setup the MAC filtering on my replacement router as posted in the other thread. I left one of my laptops off the list and was not able to connect. Non-issue with the replacement from Vonage.

Thanks for the follow up and add'l testing!!! I'll call Vonage tomorrow to order a replacement. (Do they just send you one, or do you have to send your old one in first?)

They had me do some testing first then determined that I needed a replacement.

They emailed me the return authorization and shipped overnight. Now I need to return the bad one. They give you 14 days to return the device or you are charged.
