Post subject: Can 2 accounts be combined?
I have 2 accounts, 2 "devices" & 2 separate phone numbers at the same address. Will they combine accounts? Basically I want to eliminate 1 device and put both lines on 1 device which would mean combining accounts.

Yes. You can request an account merge. You will need to be transfered to Account Management as they are the only ones authorized to do mergers. One account will be closed and it's number swapped to other account.

its not necessary to go up to account management. Any CS or Tech rep should be able to request a merge
it should take at the most 5 days

General customer service and tech support cannot do it. Only Account Management can do it because it requires terminating one of the accounts which only Acct Management can do. All closed accounts need to be properly documented and tracked for business reasons.

the merge itself (closing of the accounts to be closed and swapping the numbers and MACs) is done by an offline escalation team from AMD but the ticket to have the accounts merged can be escalated by any
Vonage
rep with escalation rights, which is pretty much everybody.

GEESH! no wonder so many ppl call
Vonage
pi**ed off
I think if you don't know.. don't talk! I guess some ppl get the worst training
you CAN merge two accounts just call
Vonage
and tell them what you want to do.. they will direct you where you need to go
and call
Vonage
if you have any questions you are not sure about.. and you can also go to your
Vonage
online account, you can do anything there
EXCEPT cancel
your account. It is very handy
