Post subject: Is there a way to do Conference Calling with more than 3 ppl
I'm familiar with the 3-Way Calling but is there a way to have more than 3 people in a conference call with
Vonage
? I realize you could add more people to the conversation if more than one person in the call has 3-Way Calling but how about if you were the only person with 3-Way Calling, is there any way you could add more than3 people to the call?

The answer is no because they only provide 3 way calling. What your looking for is a conference bridge service which
Vonage
does not offer. You can find companies that offer only conference bridging where they provide you with a toll free number and a PIN that you can change through a web portal so that it is different for each cal which provides security. From this web portal you can then e-mail this toll free and PIN # to the people you want to join with .

Actually, there is a way to have up to 5 people not including yourself in a conference call with
Vonage
.
Vonage
has an Alpha and a Beta version of ContactBook which allows for such group calling. The alpha version of ContackBook allows you to conference call with up to 5 attendees. The Beta version of ContactBook currently does not have this feature. If you're interested in the alpha version of
Vonage
ContactBook and would like to try this calling feature, click on this link
https://cb.beta.vonage.com/
and sign in with your username and password. Keep in mind that this program is still in it's Alpha and Beta stage so this feature may work sometime and sometimes it may not. As of this posting, this calling feature is currently working for me with the Alpha version of
Vonage
ContactBook.

or another option is to have all 3 people have 3 way capability and therefore you can theoretically have up to 5 people that way.
you call 2 people; each person calls up 1 additional person hence: 3 + 1 + 1 = 5. but not practical...
