Vonage available in Vestal, NY?

Hello,

I'm wondering if Vonage is available in Vestal, NY?

I went to the Vonage availability page and entered New York and then area code 607 and Vestal was not listed, but all of the neighboring towns were (Binghamton, Johnson City, Endicott).

Anyone know for sure? I thought all you needed was a high speed connection (which I have Roadrunner). Thanks.

You can have Vonage anywhere there is a high speed internet connection. The only thing you may not be able to get is a local phone number and you may not be able to port your current number.

OK, that's what I thought. We currently only have cell phones so I don't have a current landline number to port to Vonage. As long as I can get a 607 area code, I'd be happy. Thanks for the feedback.

If you want you can get a phone number from anywhere across the country or a neighboring city. You just pick.
