The IP address is usually assigned from the router the D-Link VTA-VD is connected to. Please note that if the D-Link VTA is not able to obtain an IP address from the router, it will auto-configure itself with the IP address of 192.168.15.254.
You will need to configure your computer with a static IP address matching the same subnet as the auto-configured address of the D-Link VTA-VD (i.e., static IP address=192.168.15.2, subnet mask= 255.255.255.0, default gateway = 192.168.15.254)

He can't do that and is what the problem is. His original post states he had assigned the VTA with a static IP from the previous network. Now that it is a different network range, only by factory resetting the VTA will it be able to use DHCP to pull down the current network IP data from DHCP. |
