Post subject: Vonage in Florence, Italy?
Hi all,
I am a
Vonage
customer in the US, but will be in Florence, Italy for 4 months. I'm wondering if it is wortwhile for me to attempt to hook up
Vonage
in my apartment. There is a phone jack, but I don't know if ADSL is available yet. I hate to bring my
Vonage
modem all the way there if it's not going to work. Any suggestions on how I can research this before I leave on Friday (9/5/0
?
Thanks!

If you have a computer I would use
Vonage
talk. With VT you can call any north American number and also receive phone calls from your
Vonage
line. All you need is an internet connection, a computer with a built in microphone or a headset with microphone. You can download VT for free at
http://alpha.vonage.com
I use it all the time and I leave my adapter at home.
