Post subject: Bill Collectors, Not answering the phone
Everything said is true, but Bill Collectors will not believe that you are not the one they are trying to collect from. When I had AT&T phone service a collector kept calling until he got me home and refused to believe that my number was new and I had no idea of who he was looking for. I stated that I was not the person in question and then just screened my calls. It took 8-10 week before he stopped calling.

I've been getting recorded calls from a telemarketing scam (Heather with account services) with "Unknown" as the caller ID name. They spoof there number with 11 numbers instead of 10 and the first number is always a 5 instead of a 1. The last number they spoofed was "50622540113". I have requested

add "Unknown" to its anonymous call block filters but so far they haven't.
After filing over 10 complaints to FTC, I gave up and installed Phone Tray but I have to listen to 2 rings before it's zapped.

+50622540113 is likely not a spoofied number; its a phone number in Costa Rica. "Unknown" is the standard name placeholder when no name is associated with the phone number, so its not likely that will be blocked in any way.
