As we all know Vonage has been blocked in uae for the past few weeks or probably for some months, therefore ive bought VPN and i dont know how to use it with vonAGE.. i would appreciate it if someone would pls help me with it, i have VPN connected but i dont know how to use it with vonage,,so could you tell me the process to use it pls
You must plug your pc and Vonage to switch. Switch must be plugged to ADSL modem or cable. Share Internet on your PC and setup your PC ip address as gateway. After this connect to VPN. So, your Vonage "going" to the Internet through your PC which connect to VPN
I made this trick some times ago with my Vonage. I'am using personal vpn service from VPN Privacy (http://vpnprivacy.com)
Are you still using that vpn service? Is it 100% working well in dubai? currently I am using a VPN router service from vpn4sip.com , I don't need power on the pc 24 hours because the VPN router will provide transparent VPN connection to my Vonage device, currently it works flawlessly but I just want to check if there is other solutions so I can compare, thank you.
I bought a router from vpn4sip but cannot even work out how to connect it to the phone socket. Can anybody help? vpn4sip have refused to give any more help. They just say talk to Vonage.
Vonage were helpful but could not advise on how to connect to the phone socket.
The phone socket takes an RJ45 type connector and the router takes an RJ11 type connector. Can anyone advise on this before I give up and cancel my new but unused Vonage connection.
