Internaltion call quality to and from South Korea

Hi,

I am former Vonage user.
Can someone please comment on international call quality?
Three years ago, there was a lag when speaking to someone in South Korea.
Also, when making calls from South Korea to a cell phone in the US using the softphone, there was a connection problem.
I'd like to join if the call quality has improved.

We call South Korea once a month and my wife tells me that the Vonage phone is as good as the Verizon POTS line. Of course, Vonage is a lot cheaper. I don't use the softphone so I can't comment on that.

I am not sure if you are able to use the soft phone in South Korea to call back to the U.S I know you are not able to use the Vonage adapter there because the government blocks VOIP out going calls.

There has been no problem making calls using VoIP.
Even with Vonage, I was able to make call to my home number without any problem.
There were connection and call quality issues when call a cell phone and Florida (Orlando) for some strange reason.
