Would really like to have Vonage supported on my iPhone using WiFi just like truphone does, but using my vonage account / pricing. Would pay for the "softphone" to get this feature. In the mean time just using softphone, but hate paying another VoIP provider and it costs me to call home as they treat my VoIP phone as a phone out land line.

I'd love to have a Vonage application for the iPhone. I work all day with free wifi surrounding me, but I can't use it on my iPhone!!! You're losing money every day to Truphone, and Vonage is sooo much better.

I am sorry to say that this just falls on deaf ears. I have been with Vonage for many years and they have yet to update the feature set in any meaningful way. At some point one of the competitive services (e.g. Comcast tripple play, etc.) will be proactive and include new and interesting features, such as supporting VoIP on Mobile phones (of course iPhone is what I care about) and i'll be dropping Vonage. Sad because I have been really happy with the "baseline" they offer. Their quality and realibility has been very good.
Confused

I realize that there's little hope of something happening here. That doesn't mean you can't dream of a better service. I've had bad VOIP before, so I know how good the service is here. I also understand that allowing me to connect over sometimes shady wifi is a bit of a risk to take. It's worth the effort though if it's done in time - there are already more competitors on the way.
