I too have had nothing but problems. My NEW router was defective, it took 2.5 hours on the phone, my cell phone, for the guy to figure it out. I could tell after about 10 min. He really had no idea what he was doing. They sent me new router, but hardly new. It is reconditioined. Between the cell call, and postage and the essentially used router, this is an expensive service. And the quality is poor. I called CS to talk to them and JANET, told me they use reconditioned parts, "just deal with it" . I was shocked, asked to speak to speak to someone else, and she refused! No wonder the stock in diving! Several other problems, but Ive wasted enough time with these people.

I can empathize with your first complaint. If you are a brand new customer, you should get a new Vonage unit if you got the first one from Vonage and it didn't work. Now, if you want to post some details about your equipment, isp, network set up, and speed test results, you will most likely get better help here than by talking to Vonage. 95% of the quality problems are not the result of poor service by Vonage. They are the result of problems with an ISP, equipment or bad network management/set up(QOS) by the user.

Hey guys, listen up.
NO one gives you new products especially when it's a replacement. I went through 4 modems from TimeWarner and 3 were refurbished. No way to tell as they looked new and were packaged the same. You should have asked for a supervisor, if she refused then just hang up and call again and ask for a supervisor and lodge your complaint. ALWAYS be sure to get the tech's ID number, they rattle it off fast so you have to ask them to repeat it SLOWLY. Write down the date and time. In every product there are lemons, even some people are lemons.
