Apologies if there's another current threat -- I couldn't find one -- but is Vonage usable from Beijing?
The threads I've found are all old. Thanks for any help. |

Certain countries do block the ports used by Vonage. |

I traveled China for 2 months last year - had no problems whatsoever. |

Actually China doesn´t block ports for Voip. Only one of the Koreas, I don´t remember if it was North or South Korea but no in China. If for some reason you have any issue in that case you should call the isp in china and tell them to open the ports for the vonage system. If you don´t know which ports are in that case call 1-vonagehelp and an agent from tech support will be able to tell you which ports are. |

If I recall correctly, many folks in yrs past have had success using vonage at hotels. not sure about residential isps though. |
