But most of those people are the ones that shouldn't be using Voip anyway. They don't even know what ethernet is, so I guess they can't be blamed for not having a clue how Vonage works. |

Just as an opinion, the cable has, historically, been an entertainment item. As such, the perceived need to repair or upgrade was considered to be (by the cable companies) relatively low. After all, its only entertainment so the demand that it be maintained at a level of other, critical, utilities (electrical, phone, etc.) was probably not a priority item.
Then came broadband and now the philosophy of the cable companies must change to keep up with, what is now, a critical utility along with the phone and electricity. Broadband is communication and, as such, critical.
Just my 99 cents (2 cents after taxes). |
