on my Vonage V-Portal adapter, there's a setting for volume.
however, I've tried it at the lowest setting, as well as the highest setting... it doesn't seem to affect the volume at all. (either on a corded phone or a cordless phone)
is this normal?
thanks ! |

I've never heard any mention of this. I can't even find anything about a volume control in the V-portal user's manual. |

Within the settings of the V-Portal, there is a volume setting. Adjusting the volume setting from one extreme to the other has no effect on the volume of the ring. |

this is how to get to the V-Portal's olume setting:
press "select" button prese the down arrow button 4 times press "select" button (takes you into "Settings") press the down arrow button 3 times press "select" button (takes you into "Volume") use up/down key to change volume up or down press "select" button again to save voume setting
but like I said, I don't hear any difference in volume no matter I set it to the highest or lowest volume setting.... ??? |

The volume setting changes to volume of the in-coming callers voice....no huge difference but it does work.
