I am wondering if AT&T, because of its loss of customers, is manipulating its DSL service to damage Voip customers using its network. I've noticed that my quality of service has been deteriorating steadily and now I can't use the service reliably. I have business DSL service and a business Vonage account. I'm starting to seriously consider other avenues as I'm tired of using my cell phone to call customers back. I've contacted the techs at AT&T and they said since my D/L and U/L speeds are within nominal ranges fro the service I have, there is nothing they can do. I am going to try another broadband service through Charter communications, but since they offer phone service as well, I'm afraid I'll go through all of this changing (my domain, DNS, etc.) to a new service and getting the same results. Any ideas or comments on this? |

I heard of bad things about Charter as well.
I am using cable internet and my provider also offers a phone service, but my Vonage has been working great. |

I haven't had any trouble with Charter since they fixed my internet connection. When I first got Vonage, I had a problem with my internet connection. Constant drops, horrible internet. Once that was fixed, it has been smooth sailing for over 1 year. |
