Hi guys, I need some help with this problem I'm having. I've called Vonage about 7-8 times in the past month on my days off, but I haven't gotten anywhere. I'm about to call them again, but I thought I would just post here to see if anyone else has seen this problem.

I have a linksys PAP2, and a DLink VTA, and I see this issue with either one. My Internet connection is solid, and I am told by Vonage numerous times, that my adapter is pinging their servers regularly without a hiccup. However, a good portion of my incoming calls still go straight to my call forwarding number, without even ringing my Vonage line.

About a third of my incoming calls experience this. The people calling me are using a variety of different landline and cellphone providers from all over the country.

I have verified, and Voange has verified, that it is not a connectivity issue. I have tried out 4 different routers(I disabled the firewall on all of them). Even tried connecting my device directly to my DSL line, and it still doesn't work.

One Vonage tech said that he thinks it is my adapter, so I got a new adapter. It does the same thing. The only variable on my end that I haven't tried is to use a different Internet connection, but I don't have that available to me.

Is there anyone that has any idea what could be causing this? I'm am confident that the problem is on Vonage's end, but it seems that they are reluctant to admit that.

Edit: I forgot to mention that this isn't really an issue with call forwarding. If I disable Call Forwarding, Voice Mail, and the Network Availability number, I get a message saying something along the lines of saying that the device isn't connected. If I Network availability and call forwarding, with a different number on each, it rolls to one of them( I can't remember which one, but I will try this again when the Vonage tech is on the phone)
