Cry Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Mad Mad Liar i have been trying to get help with canceling my Vonage I have been trying to cancel for over a year and they will not allow me too. when I set up the Vonage I set it up in my husband 's name they never told me that if I set it up in his name that only he would be able to call about the service or to cancel the service. when i tried to cancel they would not let me. First of all my husband is in china and has been in china for the past 2 years he did not even set this up. When I spoke to the person first of all I could not even understand the person that I was speaking too I think they plan that. So when I picked out the username and the security number I did not even know what she was saying. I just wanted to get off the phone because she was driving me crazy. I did not know that I was going to go through hell if I had a problem later in the service. Then I finally got to speak to a person in management Thursday afternoon and he says to me well all you have to do is put my name on the bill and I can do that on the internet so I said fine I will do that no problem well I thought and of course that was a joke trying to do that and of course there was no one to help me I picked out a username and my email address and that will not go through. And now I can not put my name on the bill. Please if anyone is thinking about using Vonage please think twice probablly 3 times before you do that. It maybe cheaper but the hell you go through it is not worth it they stress is unbelivable stay with verizon or time warner if you know what is good for you and for your health. Also I am going to be writing to the better business bureau and also writing to the president of Vonage and anyone else that I have to to get my story shown and get some help this is not fair. they took money from me and I did not even use the service they stole from me. thanks rosanne

With the low international rates and 25+ calling features, you should do a three way call between Vonage and your husband in China.

Three Way Conference is a great idea.

I put in an order to have my number ported to another digital service provider, they came to hook up the equipment and Vonage has refused to release my number. When I phoned to give them an earful they dropped my rates 50%.... months later I'm still unimpressed and will pay MORE money for better service quality.

They shouldn't have to tell you that. It's common knowledge.

Uh, no. Many companies use international call centers.

It "maybe" cheaper, huh? Considering this is a, you know, forum for CANADIAN Vonage customers, why are you here? We don't have Verizon or Time Warner in Canada. Maybe you should post in the correct forum.

Nothing was stolen from you. This all started after you had the service put in your husband's name. That's not Vonage's fault, that's yours. Ignorance is not an excuse.

Good luck cancelling vonage.... when you call they have some useless biatch who answers the phone and cant speak english.... i frigging hate that... if I wanted to talk to some useless muslim I would call the local garbage dump.

The best way to cancel is to go to your bank and have them prevent Vonage from being on your visa card.

Vonage IS A GROUP OF CROOKS .... TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO RUN THE OTHER WAY WHEN IT COMES TO VONAGE.... THEY WILL STEAK MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.
