When I got Vonage 2 months ago, none of my DirecTv Tivo DVRs
would work. I could not make the daily calls or the test call. I pretty
much just gave up. (sure, the annoying pop-up message was there)
However, for some unknown reason, all of my 4 DirecTV Tivo DVRs
were able to make calls as of two days ago.(5/25) I have change
no settings on my DVRs or the Vonage setup....
Can anyone tell me what's going on?

My Tivo and DirecTivos have never completed successful calls CONSISTENTLY, but I can always get them to succeed within a few weeks . . . a lot of failed attempts in between successes, but, ultimately, always a success for more than two years now.
So maybe you just got lucky! I'd be interested to know if you continue to have success all the time. |
