We have a two line Vonage account plus softphone. We are trying to setup 3CX-PBX with Aastra phones to use the Vonage account, but area having no luck connecting. We have set our SonicWall VPN-Firewall to allow for static Voip addressing, but still get error 10, when running a firewall test in 3CX and the line will not register. Does anyone have any tips on how to set this up properly? |

I had trouble registering until I set both the address and the account to be the 15555551212 (1+area code+number) with my Polycom phone. I posted my settings for that phone:

If you still can't get it working after all the port forwarding and account settings appear to be OK, i would put one of the phones on the DMZ and see if it's able to register. If so, you know that it's a security issue on the firewall that needs fixed. |

Setting a static address for One-to-One NAT on the firewall fixed the problem as far as getting the line to register. 3CX now passes the firewall test and we have no proxy timeouts. All appears to be good, but we can't dial out. Have set outbound rules but they don't seem to have any positive impact, all we get is a busy signal and no connection message on the handset. |

Does x-lite work with the same credentials on a pc on the network? If so it has to be config of the phone itself. I would still try to put the phone on DMZ and see if it works... |
