Which Digital Phone Adaptors support pulse dialing? I do not need it for an alarm system, just a rotary phone.

Thanks in Advance!

I think you can use rotary phones with vonage with any vonage adaptors.. But i have seen with pulse dialling we cannot navigate thru IVR calls like (800 numbers calls) with the digital phone service..

Vonage does not support pulse (rotary phone) dialing.

I hope this helps,

Dan

I guess they don' t officially support pulse dialing.

However, I have two 1960s rotary phones that work just fine
when connected to the V-Portal adapter.Thumbs Up I can make outgoing
call by dialing the numbers with the rotary dial. Smile

Optional call features such as call transfer and 3-way calling are not supported with the use of a rotary phone with Vonage.

700-WEATHER from Vonage will also not work... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

not really a problem, as my main phone is a 8-handset cordless phone system. I just keep the rotary phones connected for fun. A lot of young people don't even know how to dial with rotary dials anymore. Very Happy ...so it's kind of educational when I show my friend's kids(or anyone under 25) how to dial numbers with the rotary phone.

is there a list anywhere of which adaptors do and don't support it?

kiersten said that the V-Portal does, but what about others? I plan on buying at a vonage booth in my local mall

Keep in mind when vonage says they don't "support" something does not mean it doesn't work, they just wont help you with it, if you get the pulse to work, then good for you, the "page turners" in India do not know what pulse dialing is because it is not in the book that they follow when you call. They dont support alarms, but some of them work.

curious about this myself. looking into getting an older rotary phone for the kitchen (other than a new counter and appliances it was last remodeled in the 50's)

I've got a Linksys PAP2, anyone know if that one will work?
