Well, it looks like I made the mistake of researching too much and now my preferred area code isn't available. I signed up to be emailed when more are available. Anyone have an estimate of how long that may take?

Vonage Area Codes / Exchanges are updated daily, Monday - Friday.

Don't hold your breath. I signed up for email notification on several different area codes, and it doesn't work. Several weeks after putting my email on the list, I was messing around with the Add Virtual Number feature in the control panel just for fun, and Lo and Behold, the area code at the very top of my "gotta have it" list was available for the choosing. I checked back every day for the next 2 weeks and that AC was still available. Vonage must have gotten a big new block of numbers there.
But even with 2+ weeks of that AC in available inventory-- God knows how long it was available before I stumbled onto it-- I never got an email.
