Help setting up wireless router

I have the v-portal adapter set up and working fine, but I cannot seem to be able to reconnect my wireless Linksys WRT54G and get phone service too. I have a dedicated DSL line. I have tried over and over with no luck. My last attempt was plugging my DSL direct into the Router then back to the v-port with no luck. Any suggestions or help? Thanks so much!

Here is the way I have a successful setup. I have a hub/switch attached to my DSL router. I then connect all peripherals to that including my wireless Linksys access point. DHCP is turned OFF on all items connected to the hub/switch. I have two Vonage adapters connected this way and it all works great. If you need some specific answers, please feel free to respond.

A note on your last attempt. Be sure to turn OFF the DHCP in the Linksys WRT54G. You cannot have two DHCP servers on the same subnet. This may be causing your trouble. If I understand correctly, you had the following wiring:

DSL line connected to your DSL modem, ethernet connection from the DSL modem to the Linksys WRT54G, ethernet connection from the WRT54G to the v-portal. Your DSL modem should be supplying the DHCP services for this setup.
