Have downloaded Vonage Talk but get the message in Vonage Talk that calling is not available, and an x on the tray icon which says vonage talk internet connection error. What is the Vonage Talk ID and password that you are supposed to put in the sign in? Where do you get this info? I am waiting for a replacement VoIP router. |

I had used the web account logon and password, but since I was receiving the following message, I wondered if I was wrong. Have re-entered several times, and checked online that I had the correct logon and password. I have had this problem while trying to install this on a laptop with windows XPpro, but if I can get it to work, I also want to put in on a laptop with Vista.
When I first get the Vonage Talk screen, it opens, and then the welcome message saying I am a Vonage customer, etc., etc. However, after only a minute I then keep getting the message in red on Vonage Talk that calling is not available, and an x on the tray icon, which when highlighted, says vonage talk internet connection error.
Any ideas on what to do to correct this? Since my router is new, I wondered if some setting might be causing the problem. I am waiting for a replacement vonage VoIP router to add to my network. I have been a vonage customer since 2005
I have Toshiba Wireless laptop with Windows XP pro, a HP Laptop with Vista, Two Desktops with XPpro, WRT600N router |
