I've received my latest bill today and noticed that several land line calls have been charged for.
All these charged calls were made on 1st May. I made landline calls before and after in the same billing period and these have not been charged for.
My first reaction was I must have exceeded the fair usage policy and was now being charged, but the fact I had calls in the same billing period not charged for means that's probably incorrect.
I've claimed the money back.
Anyone else had this problem? |

Well, I don't know, I'm not usually charged for national calls
But, I emailed Customer Services.
Their first reaction was I was being charged for cellphone calls! After pointing out to them they're not mobile numbers, they agreed and refunded.
Of course, no explanation. |

Just noticed this too.... infact 12 quid for calling a 020 london number !
Reported it through the 'request a credit' link, but nothing back - is it better to email them ? |

I couldn't find the "request a credit" link ... so emailed. (Though I see it now ....).
Not actually had the credit yet, I'm guessing that'll appear on the next bill. |

I asked them twice over the support links how and why this happened and if I needed to check my bills every month because they are trying to rob me
.... I got a typical answer which ignored my questions totally:
We are sorry for this mistake, if you want to check you bills you can view them online. |

I do check my bill every month, first time ever there's been an issue though. I just scan the charged amounts. |

i spoke to vonage re this, asking why i was sent the email quating the following usage. No calls over 5 minutes unless dialed to me.And calls dialed to me over 2 hours were paid for by the caller, not me.The reply was....Thats ok as long as you don't make calls of more than 2000 hours per month. How many hours are there in a month?.Enough said. |
