I have an interesting problem. After a few days Vonage system is operating, it gets into a state where all incoming call loose incoming audio 3-5 seconds after I answer. I can hear the caller for 5 seconds and the dead silence. But the caller can hear me. When I make originating calls, I have no problems.
To remedy the problem, I need to reboot my Integrated Motorola Cable Modem/WiFi/Router. Then the problem goes away for a few hours or a few days, but always comes back. Rebooting Vonage voice router does not help. I spent countless hours with Vonage support but it always end at reboot your system and then problem temporarily goes away.
Anyone seen anything similar or knows how to remedy the problem? I am using Motorola integrated cable modem/WiFi/router. On LAN side I have a hub with a few computers and then Vonage router is plugged into one of the HUB's ports. |

If you're using a cordless 2.4 GHz phone, replace it with a wired phone for awhile and see if that takes care of the problem. Also see what happens if you remove the hub and plug the Vonage device directly into the router. |

I think you've mixed up this thread with the other one you started. Did you call tech support on the ringing issue? It's a long shot, but I think it needs to be tried. |

Yes, you are right. I did mix up the two subjects.
Loss of audio is nothing to do with the cordless phone. I tried with coreded phone with the same result. It some kind of incompatibility between vonage servers, my cable modem and vonage voice router. |

I did remove the hub, but even with hub, audio does not start disappearing right away. I cannot run withough hub for extended period of time as I do not have enough ports. |

How many LAN ports does the integrated modem/router have? Can one be dedicated to the Vonage device with the hub on another? |
