Post subject: Quality phones to use with voip setup?
Hi folks, I just came onboard (finally) and have a D-Link VTA on the way. I'm on Telus' High Speed Enhanced. I plan on using the setup for my home office. What is a good phone to attach to the modem and a good headset. If you have experience (good/bad) with certain models I sure would appreciate hearing about it! I'm hoping to keep it around the $500 mark. Thanx!

Basically any phone should work fine with
Vonage
. The
Vonage
adapters are designed to simulate a standard telephone line as closely as possible. Choose whatever you'd use if you had standard phone service.
One exception. If your home computer network includes wireless, don't choose a 2.4 GHz cordless phone. They can interfere with wireless.

For a headset I would recommend using a bluetooth headset.
