I have 2 router one from vonage and the other from my internet privider.
They have diferent Ip's:
Vonage: 192.168.15.1 (3 pcs conected to this)
ISP Router: 192.168.1.1 (2 pcs conected to this)
How could i make for the shared documents of the PC's from the Vonage Routers could see the documents of the other 2 PC's from the ISP Router. and conversely.
It's possible? there are some way to do it? |

It's possible but not ideal. I would recommend picking up a 5 or 8 port switch to give yourself more lan ports. They are cheap. That way, you can use your router from your isp as the only router and use your Vonage device as a phone adapter only. Or if you are worried about QOS, you could use the Vonage router and forget the router of your isp. Unless, of course, that router is also your modem. That way you have one network being served by one router. If you want to explore setting it up with two routers, look here. http://vonage.nmhoy.net |

How are they networked, ie, is the vonage first and the second router plugged in to the vonage, or the other way around? |

When you say ISP router, do you mean that it is your modem and it also has a router built in or do you have a separate modem? Do you have cable or dsl for your internet? |

I believe the VT2442 has DHCP relay which may help. Check the box and put 192.168.1.1 into the address. Although I have never used this, it is supposed to relay the DHCP info from the other (earlier router's DHCP).
Let us know if you try it and if it works. |
