Post subject: call probs
I am having probs and have since I got my phone service. My calls cut out and get choppy, and neither of us can hear the other, then it clears up to where i can hear them but they cant hear me. I have reset the device numerous times, my cords are fine. I have checked from more than one phone. I have tried a filter. disabling my firewall. my speed says its 100 mbps 1360 packets and 1130 is the other number. is my internet too fast? i have my bandwidth set to 30 as low as it will go. someone have any ideas? My son calls from CA stressed out, i need to be able to talk to him and not put up with this bull. thanks

in order for us to better assist you. Remove your Vonage device and any other router or networking equipment you might have and connect your cable or dsl modem directly to your computer when running the VoIP test.
