I submitted my number transfer request on Vonage's website last Thursday. Today is only the third business day after that request was sent to Verizon landline.
This morning, I got an email from Vonage telling me that Verizon had approved my tranfer request and that the transfer should be completed by tomorrow.
Is it normal that the process goes so quickly? Not that I'm complaining or anything... but I've read on this forum that most transfers take about 10 days... so 3 days seems awfully short... any chance of Vonage or Verizon making some kind mistake?

Mine took only 5 days. If everything on your account is current (no past dues, no service changes pending, etc), it should go quickly. |

my Verizon account has a balance of about $55, which has a due date of 4/20.... it's not past due, so it shouldn't cause any problems, right?  |

No, only past due balances. If everything is current, it should be fine. |
