I'm wondering what Vonage really means with its "unlimited" calling plan. (the mind wonders a lot when one is bored on the job with the bosses out of town)
There are 30 days in a month, 24 hours in a day, and 60 minutes per hour. 30x24x60 = 43200 minutes....
Not that a person can actually speak for 43200 minutes on the telephone... but... the only person that I know who talks a LOT on the phone is my aunt. She can make a call and talk continuosly for 5 to 6 hours... whether the person at the other end has fallen asleep is another matter...
Is there somewhere in Vonage's terms & conditions that says unlimited doesn't really mean unlimited? (like how my cable company has a "fair use" access polity, which is essentially a cap on the usage)
Thanks! |

Thanks! I seiourly doubt I'll go over 5000 minutes per month. (but hey, I may do that when I'm as old as my aunt... who knows? )
On ther other hand, I switched to Vonage mainly for the unlimited international calls. Vonage doesn't have another threshold limit for just the international call, I hope? For example, they won't audit my account after 1000 or 2000 int'l minutes? |
