What will your cost zoom up to after the promotion ends? Do they offer softphones or WiFi phones that a subscriber can take on the road with them that is included in their $19.99 promotional package? |

So they are saying that, if you call during the time you are on the 12 month promotion, they will extend it for another 12 months making it a total of 24 months at $19.99? And then they guarantee that it will continue on at $24.99?
Do they also offer a softphone or WiFi phone and services that a subscriber can take on the road like Vonage does? This would be important for many that are in business or spend much of their time on the road. Most good hotels, motor home parks and even some fast food places offer free WiFi and the savings of this feature over cell phones would be a decisive point in the selection of a digital phone service over Vonage. |

That seems to be a lot of stuff to carry to make a phone call. Any idea about when Magicjack will start supporting WiFi phone technology? |

I doubt if they have all the features that Vonage has, though if you do not use them, no difference really.
While they may have no contract, change fees and disconnect fees are not uncommon. I had long distance discountinued on my POTS line (2nd line I use for business and the alarm) after getting Vonage, and the telephone comapny charged me a LD disconnect fee even though thre was "no contract". |

I use Vonage talk (free if you have the ulimited plan) for that. Can not hook a regular telephone to it, but a bluetooth headset works great. Does not monopolize your standard Vonage line either, kind of like a 2nd line. |
