Hi Guys,
I have a D-link VTA box and I am trying to use it by connecting it to the Linksys Wrt54G router.
I am in India and have Broadband connection provided by a local cable operator. Every time I want to acces internet I have to login using my username and password.
When I connect my Vonage box to the Router it says "cannot connect your vonage box to the vonage network".
I tried several things but no luck.
please help me |

Did you access the internet through the router before or did you just have your modem directly to your computer? |

You must have a modem that your cable broadband connects too.
Personally, I found the WRT54G to be a horrible router for my Vonage reception. It was so bad, that I brought it back and bought a DLink DIR-655. I love this router and my call quality hasn't been better in the 6 years I have been with Vonage. It is expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
Try this:
1) Unplug your modem ( the box your Coax cable connects too)
2) Unplug your router
3) Unplug your VTA
4) Leave off for 1 minute
5) Plug your modem in
6) After a minute, plug your router in
7) A minute after your router is back on, plug your VTA in
Once you have your dialtone, then plug your computer in |
