I am toying with the idea of moving to Vonage from my current POTS provider, Cincinnati Bell. I would be interested in hearing from any Vonage subscribers from the Cincinnati area who ported their number from Cincinnati Bell to Vonage. How easily did the transfer go? Any problems to look out for? Also, what are your current experiences with Vonage? Do you regret moving from Cincinnati Bell?

I ported my number almost a year ago. No problems about 12 days then.

I noticed that you have much the same set up I do -- I have Time Warner's Road Runner with a Motorola SB5101 Cable modem also (except I don't have a router). I've noticed that with my Internet connection through Road Runner, my QoS has varied dramatically. Sometimes it's as low as 40%, other times it's up to 99% Have you had that same experience, and has it caused problems with the quality of your Vonage calls?
