V Portal Adapter connected to Wireless Router

I have a the following connection that is giving me a headache:

ADSL MOdem to Linksys Wireless WRT54G (WAN to WAN) to V-portal Adapter (LAN to WAN)

The phone works fine making and receiving calls but internet on both wired and wireless PC's connected to the router has no internet. I tried connecting to PPoE but to no avail. I have 4 PC's and desperate to have them get internet while Vonage also would work. PLEASE HELP...

If I understand you, you have the DSL modem connected to the WAN port on the Linksys and you have a LAN port on the Linksys connected to the WAN port on the V-Portal. If that's correct, the setup should work, assuming that your computers had internet service before. Since it doesn't, disconnect the V-Portal from the Linksys. Get your LAN working again with the V-Portal out of the picture. I assume that you're using DHCP on the LAN side of the Linksys.

Now plug a computer into the LAN side of the V-portal. Fire it up, and log on to the admin page. Change the LAN side addressing of the V-Portal from the default, which is the same as the default LAN addressing of the Linksys (192.168.15.xxx) to something else (like 192.168.16.xxx). Plug the WAN port of the V-Portal into a LAN port on the Linksys and you should be good to go.
