Post subject: Need MAC for new account
Greetings, I'm new here.
I just ordered a PAP2 off Amazon, looking to use it w/ a WRT54GL and tomato w/ the $14.99/mo plan.
When I go to create an account and select "Already have a device" the next step is to provide a MAC address. I don't have this yet, as I just ordered the router. I don't want to have to wait for the router, I'd rather get the
Vonage
account established now, so that it's ready to go when the box arrives.
Should I even worry about it? How long does it take to establish the account if one has their own hardware?
Should I just give the MAC off the WRT54GL in the meantime?
Thanks.
