Post subject: IP 800 vtech series phone not working
hi,
i have been using the
Vonage
IP 800 vtech series broadband phone since 2 yrs. it was working perfectly until last week the green light which indicates the phones working has just dissapeared , and eventhough i tried rebooting the phone but the phone doesnt seem 2 start or b in a ready mode although there is power in the phone n other funtions like the 'base paging' work. the DSL cable goes in the WAN port of the base and the LAN cord of the phone connects with my computer . i recently foung that there was virus in my computer n i got rid of it but i changed my LAN card of the computer thinking that must have caused the phone 2 go off the ready mode but it dint help cos the phone still doesnt work. anyone whose also using a vtech phone plz help me with this problem .

Almost all of the problems with the Vtech phones are due to a failed power supply. When mine failed I called
Vonage
and they sent a new one free of charge. They also told me that I could buy a new one at a Radio Shack type of store if I did not want to wait. The new power supply arrived in 3 days. Very happy with
Vonage
