Post subject: FEEDBACK on Visual Voice Mail
Since I can't find a place on the
Vonage
website to post this, I am doing so here:
The Visual Voice Mail feature is nice - I was just given a free trial.
I have had several calls (seems to be calls made from a cellphone) that were not able to be translated but the ones that have worked are very accurate - even if a small mistake is made in the transcription it is very clear what the caller was actually saying.
I won't be opting in to this service, however, since I can't chose which messages I want translated. 6 messages were from debt collectors asking for people I didn't even know - which means if I was paying for the service these people would have wasted my money!!
If there was a way to have an email sent (like there is now) with a notification that I had a message, but with the addition of a link I could click to request a translation - I would use it.
I don't feel like being liable for wrong numbers, telemarkting calls, mistaken debt collector calls or even calls from my family that can wait...

This is good suggestion. I think every user would become a subscriber of this service as they will only pay for messages that are of interest to them.
