Post subject: Problem with Voice Gateway - Power light blinking Red
I am trying to setup
Vonage
in India. I am using Motorola vt2142 and BSNL modem. After connecting modem to
Vonage
device to computer and powering on the modem followed by the
Vonage
device (as instructed in the user manual) the moment I plugged in the power supply to
Vonage
device, I see the Power light blinking red after a couple of times of blinking green. The modem is configured with PPPoE settings with the user and password already setup. Unfortunately I cannot even open the Motorola router page (192.168.15.1), says page not found. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

I am not sure how you configured the username/password in modem if you can not get the the web page.
Type ipconfig on command prompt on PC and see if it's getting IP address from VT2142. If yes then you should be able to got the
192.168.15.1 and see the PPoE status.
