Cry

I see that Vonage does NOT have unlimited faxing service!
I can receive unlimited faxes but to send is limited to 300 minutes for residential and 500 minutes for business.
Is there a way to get unlimited service ?
or can I buy additional minutes in a package or something ?
I don’t want to pay 3.9 cents for additional minutes to fax something! and I don’t want to use the PC to fax program.
I called Vonage and the sales rep. told me that the residential plan is unlimited to send and receive but the website doesn’t state so what is the truth here the website or the sales rep???

Thanks for any help….

You can fax from a "residential line." So yes, having the unlimited residential would be a possibility.

Yet, I guess it's interesting that the rep would say what he did, since, technically one would wonder if that much faxing during a month is really residential use and they could raise that issue from their TOS.

Of course, I really don't think they are going to really have interest in whether you're sending voice or data traffic on the line.

I want to use the fax line for a in-home small business, but I want to get more minutes to send faxes how can I do that without paying 3.9 cents per minute after 500 minutes ?

If I just order 2 fax lines can I combine the minutes ?

For example:

If I get 2 business lines I will get 2 fax lines correct ?
so will my total send fax time be doubled at 1,000 minues ?? and 3.9 cents when I go over ? or it doesn't matter how many lines I get the max is 500 minutes ???

Thanks for Helping!!!

Try using your business line for FAX. If that works then just use the second business line for FAX and since it's not the "fax line" you will have unlimited faxing Idea (I think!!)

That's a lot of faxing.

If you get another business line, yes you will get another faxline, but you will have to split the time as you will have 500 minutes per line. I think I would seriously consider just trying an unlimited residential line and faxing from that.
