VONAGE telephone set VTA-CVR

Is anyone out there familiar with this product? If so please Exclamation

post a reply. The telephone set gives me the same C/S phone # to call for help as Vonage's and they insist that there is no such product.

Are you speaking of the Vonage Whole House System DECT 6 ?

The 3 phone cordless set ?

If so I have it....Works great !

that's the one, great. I've finally sorted thru some of my problems but now one handset will not sound a dial tone. I've tried everything I can think of registering it, not on room monitoring, etc. And do u know where I can get the 4th handset. Why doesn't Vonage C?S know about it? Very Happy

On the handset with no dialtone....Go to the meun ....then to default setting....reset to default....don't register it....see if it works now ?

Many have looked for the extra handsets....They are not out there so don't waste your time looking.

I lucked into an extra ( 4th ) handset from a member here on the forum, that bought a complete ( extra ) system and sold me one of the handsets.

Thank you PSJ, I'm so happy to actually find someone who is wonderfullly helpful! I am only my second week into Vonage and it's been tough so far, tell me will it get better? I was ready to exercise my 30 day out! I tried it resetting to default with no luck, I think I have a dud handset. And no way to try to get a replacement. Oh well. You've made me feel somewhat more optomistic and I appreciate it.

Maybe try this....Take out the battery for a few min's....then replace it....

If that doesn't work....unplug the base station for a few min's....then plug it back in....Maybe this will get it working....

Note :you will need to call yourself from another line to get the time reset )

Again thanks, you read my mind, now my time is correct. This handset works on speaker just fine I've discovered but no dial tone just dead air using the talk button. Isn't that strange? I'm becoming more determined to make this all work.

I just bought this package and signed up for Vonage service. Everything seems to work OK except all 3 handsets displect the incorrect time. The time on the Vonage adapted is correct. No where in the manual does it say how the time on the hand set is set or how to adjust it.

When I called Vonage at first they seemed to say that the handsets were not Vonage. Then they said to disconnect everything for an hour and when they called me back they had me re-connect everything. But it didn't help.

Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this?
