Post subject: Firmware upgrade RTP300
My RTP300 wired router says the version is 5.01.04. All of the posts I'm reading talk about a 1.00.62 firmware. Am I looking at the wrong number somehow? Also the user/tivonpw doesn't work for me. I can get into the router for normal maintenance.
Anybody able to offer any hints?

I thought that
Vonage
would take care of the firmware needs and that we shouldn't be updating it on our own. Of course, I may be all wet on this understanding.

While that might be true, up until a week ago, my
Vonage
router was behind another router that should have prevented
Vonage
from updating my router.

Version 5.01.04 is the latest version. If the 5.01.04 version is causing any issues for you, you will have to contact tech support and ask them to roll back your firmware version to 1.00.62.
