Is it just me or is there a issue with Vonage Talk. I keep trying to log in and it keeps coming back wrongid/wrong password entered Any issues that you guys are aware of? Also any work arounds?
There is an on going issue with VT, something to do with the servers. I posted a work around it on here using freedigits.net and xlite softphone to make free phone calls using Vonage contact book.
I get the same thing almost everytime I login to Vonage talk. I sometimes have to try and login 5 or 6 times. Since it is an alpha program I would expect lots of problems with it. When it does work however it does work well.
my work around has been deleted, maybe Dan thinks it isn't allowed to use Vonage like this, but Vonage Talk calls didn't count against your minutes, the way I am doing it now does count against the Vonage minutes sinces the calls are treated as a call transfer or forward.

I tried your suggestion for free digits but thats doesn't seem to be working for me either/ I am running vista less than a week
I am running vista also and it works for me there is another program called oovoo it is in Beta, you can make free calls until April 1st, Vonage talk should be fixed by then.
