Post subject: Bridgeing VOIP wirelessly between buildings :)
Need some help with hardware selection.
I have a wireless bridge between buildings. 2 of these baby's and it's GREAT.
LINKSYS WET54GS5 WIRELESS-G ETHERNET BRIDGE WITH 5-PORT SWITCH Price: $136.00
http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?refer=dealtime&id=1002491
http://www.fab-corp.com
2 RooTenna 19dBi 2.4G Panel Antennas w/ R-SMA Pigtail go up to 10 miles
for $ 79.16 each, coupled with a waterproof compartment to facilitate integration of the bridges. It's GREAT!
LINKSYS WAPPOE POE POWER OVER ETHERNET KIT
Price: $29.00 This gets the power and ethernet to the Antenna with just one pull of CAT5
http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?sid=u7x73j2h6uexbp3&id=1001708#moreinfo
Now I want to bridge 4 lines from my existing phone system
(2) Nortel Norstar 8x24 Control Units.
to the other buildings phone system
(The same phone system equipment) over this bridge which acts as just an extention of my existing network. Although I can configure a VLAN over the bridge
Supporting QOS if I need to it's running @ 28mbps so it can take a good load.
So I need to know what kind of
Voip
hardware I need to carry 4 lines from one side to the other. FXO and FXS gateways or what?
Thanks everyone!!!!!

I don't have the answer to your question on the top of my head but here is a resource you might want to look into, some people who are writing advanced open-source firmware for the WRT54G Linksys routers. I'm using a number of routers with their firmware and the versatility they add is amazing including raising the power output of the WiFi radios from 28 mW 250 mW or anywhere in between. The development group meets in a message forum where the kinds of issues that interest you are discussed.

you might want to consider using their set up in your existing bridges.
