I am not able to access a remote hosted filemaker file when my rt31p2 is in line. I can access the file just fine if I connect the computer directly to the cable modem.
I have port forwarding enabled, but either I am missing something, or there is something else wrong.
Here is a screen shot of what I have done... The 2 lines marked "fmp9" are what I was told by the filemaker people had to be opened. I know my computer is using 192.168.15.100.
Any advice?

Not a FMPro expert, but I thought port 591 wat a main port for this product. Also, you MAY need to open port 80? |

BTW, if you want to do web access for VNC (no client needed) open port 5800. |

Got it guys!
Spent about an hour on the phone with a high level Vonage tech in Georgia (Chad) and my brother, a Filemaker programmer in a conference call, and it was an issue with port filtering, though I can't remember what exactly was going on right now... my head is all mush!
If it means anything to anyone, I will try to find out how we got it resolved.
Thanks! |
