I never have any trouble checking voicemail either through Vonage's website or the phone. If you are getting a page that states Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again later. that can be generated for any number of reasons. It doesn't automatically mean Vonage is having trouble with the site (alothough possible), it is actually more likely the problem lies at your end or your ISP being I get the feeling this happens to you with some regularity based on your post. The voicemail page is setup to use secure socket layer I would try a couple of things, one clear your temporary internet files then if that doesn't work make sure your browser is up to date. Another possible problem maybe if you are dropping packets or have high latency times. Maybe try doing the speed test on this site to make sure your internet connection is up to par.
