Can't receive calls from outside the US

Hi,

I opened my Vonage account yesterday, and everything works great except one thing.

I had someone try to call me from Panama City (Area code 507) and they get a "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please contact..." message.

I can get calls from the US no problem. Is there some length of time one should have to wait until this thing works 100%? I haven't been able to find anything similar to my problem in this forum.

I suppose it may take a few days for the international routing tables to be updated with your new number.

do his other calls to the usa work fine? perhaps he has to dial a country code?

I hope this is the case. It is definitely not a problem with Vonage as far as I can tell. I can place international calls just fine. Hopefully the issue will clear itself in a few days.
