Post subject: Number Port
I have a problem. I got
Vonage
service on Jan 11th and have been waiting for the number porting process to finish. As of this writing it still has not been completed. On my account online it lists my porting number, but nothing about the status of my port. I called
Vonage
and was given the runaround of different csr's. They told me that there was no request for a port (which i did fill the form out). Now they are telling me that their computers won't accept the port. yet on their website it says my number is portable (Verizon by the way). This is my second time porting this number to
Vonage
so i know it is portable. Any ideas? If this can't be rectified i am going to cancel before the 30 days.

No i don't. I use road runner.
Update: When someone who has
Vonage
dials my soon to be ported number it rings my
Vonage
phone, but anyone else it still rings my rings the active house phone.
