I have 2 wires coming into the house from the outside box. They connect to a terminal block near by electrical box. One is phone wire, the other is the ground wire. Looks like the ground wire connects to the block, then another wire runs to one of my cold water pipes. Should I just leave the ground wires intact? Or disconnect? |

I read that page. I plan on disconnecting from the outside network interface unit. The question is , should I leave the ground wire in place? It's also fed into the house and connected to a cold water pipe. Is it necesary to ground the internal wiring, if it'll only be used for my Vonage "network"? |

I can't see why another ground would harm anything. I removed my wiring totally and ran to a new location, but my cable is already grounded. |
