In October I ported my number to another service provider. Your company has continued to bill me for service. I have called 5 times and get nothing but, " you have to contact this other department". Can someone please help!

First, this site is an independent support forum so it is not tied to Vongae. Second, you can probably get some advice here. Most people with your issue have simply cancelled the credit card used by Vonage. You could also call your card company an dispute the charges.

According to The Vonage web site:

In order to begin your port out process, please contact your new telephone service provider to initiate the number transfer. Please contact us at 1-VONAGE-HELP (1-866-243-4357) during business hours once the number transfer is complete in order to cancel your Vonage service. You must call Vonage to verify a cancellation has taken place. Your account is not automatically cancelled when your new service takes over.

Have you already transferred your number to another telephone service provider?
Please contact us at the number below during business hours in order to cancel your Vonage service. To cancel your account and provide you with all of the important cancellation information, we need to verbally verify the owner of the account.

Our Account Management Department is available to assist you Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST at 1-VONAGE-HELP (1-866-243-4357).
